Preparation for Your Massage

How should I prepare for my massage?

Ensure you have a quiet, comfortable space for the massage. Avoid heavy meals at least an hour before the session, and stay hydrated. It's also a good idea to shower and finish any tasks before I arrive.

Do I need to provide anything?

No, I provide everything needed for the session, including the massage table, sheets, towels, and all necessary products and equipment. If you’d like to play your own music or have preferred products used during the session, just let me know.

How should I prepare my space?

To make sure everything fits, you’ll need about 2x2 meters of space. Lay down a yoga mat and check if you can move around it comfortably, if you can, you’re good to go! A living room, kitchen, or larger bedroom works best. If it’s chilly, pre-heat the room for extra comfort.

What to Expect During a Mobile Massage

How does a mobile massage work?

I bring the full spa experience to you! I’ll arrive with my massage table and all the necessary equipment, set up in a quiet space, and tailor the session to your needs. Please allow an extra 15 minutes before and after your appointment for setup, consultation, and pack-down.

Do I need to undress completely?

You can undress to your comfort level. For safety and hygiene purposes, you will need to keep your underwear on during the massage, though bras should be removed for the treatment. You'll always be covered with towels, with only the area being worked on exposed.

Aftercare Advice

What should I do after my massage?

Hydrate
Drink plenty of water for the next 24-48 hours to support circulation and help your body naturally eliminate waste.

Rest
Avoid strenuous activity for the remainder of the day. Allow your body time to recover and adapt to the treatment.

Eat Light
Choose balanced, nourishing meals. Avoid alcohol, heavy, or highly processed foods where possible.

Normal Reactions
Mild soreness, slight fatigue, or a feeling of deep relaxation may occur after your treatment. These responses are normal and should settle within 24-48 hours.

Treatment-Specific Notes
For lymphatic drainage, increased urination is normal as the body eliminates excess fluid. You may also notice a reduction in bloating and a feeling of lightness.

Ongoing Care
To continue progress and support lasting results, regular treatments are recommended. Consistency allows your body to adapt and respond more effectively over time

Please make sure there is convenient parking available nearby. If you have restricted parking (e.g. permits or limited bays), just let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly. Easy access to your home helps me set up quickly and give you the full treatment time
